The Story

Having gained decades of experience in the luxury fashion industry, creative designer and founder Natasha Coyne founded Linen & Silk label with a mission to help women to feel elegant, stylish and sexy yet comfortable whatever they face from day to night.

Born out of her love for the Mediterranean, a place where she was born, with its warm climate, sun trenching days, bold colours and lightweight, kind-to-the-skin fabrics, is what inspires Natasha to create classic and versatile pieces for both ready-to-wear collections and bespoke too.

Using only natural fabrics, linen and silk in particular, her designs help to create a sophisticated, luxurious and effortless feel which she calls “Relaxed Elegance”.

Relaxed Elegance

“Designing continuous collections every year was never my thing and I could never quite understand it. I love creating timeless pieces with high quality materials at good price point. At Linen & Silk we want to slow down fashion, never compromising on our ethical and sustainable values, leaving a legacy for the next generations.

To me, style is about being smart with your wardrobe, enjoying key staples and classics every day, whatever the occasion. With clever layering that empowers you to face the day ahead, mixing and matching pieces, such as our cardia-style silk jacket, you can create different looks, styles and outfit. This is what Linen & Silk is about.”

Born out of love for the Mediterranean and natural fabrics, I love creating timeless pieces with a sophisticated, luxurious and effortless feel. I call it relaxed elegance.

The Mediterranean Influences

Combining colour, texture, couture craftsmanship, embellishment and a spark of glamour, my collections are influenced by the Mediterranean. From the turquoise blue of the sea, rich earthy tones of terracotta, soft browns gracing the streets to leafy greens and sunshine yellows enriched with copper and gold, all of these colours inform my designs, creating seasonless pieces that not only enhance woman’s silhouette but also they feel comfortable to wear daily.

Natural Fabrics

We only use natural fabrics in all of our designs, collections and Made to Measure garments.

Handcrafted in UK

We keep our garment production in house either at our studio in St Albans, at one of our chosen ateliers within the UK.

Good for all

We are a responsible and transparent atelier and label, with respect for the environment and a minimum of waste.

You can only become truly accomplished at something you love.
